4. Description of event - Do you ride a bicycle? Interested in long distances? The 2006 Ride for Missing Children is now registering riders online: www.fingerlakesride.org for the Thursday, September 28th, 2006 ride. The 2006 Finger Lakes Ride for Missing Children is a 100 mile escorted bicycle ride, sponsored by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children/New York Branch (NCMEC/NY) that raises funds to support abduction prevention education programs and to honor all missing children. Training rides are held Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings – visit our website for time and ride location.
