Once again Jan Maloff is heading up a large local Christmas project to refurbish bikes for the less fortunate in the area. Many volunteers are needed to work on the bikes and bring them up to ridable condition. Jan has a space at Carousel for the donations and refurbishing work. He is looking for volunteers to work any time during the week and on weekends. He needs anyone who wants to do so to e-mail him with their name, phone number, e-mail address and their availability (when they would like to work). He will try to set up a schedule as volunteers are available. Times are very flexible and we think he expects to be on site most of the time. His e-mail address is janmaloff10@aol.com . His phone is 446-7570, but we think he’d rather people volunteer using via e-mail as then he has a permanent record to work from. I hope that again we can provide a number of people to work on this worthy project; OCC members can receive volunteer points. I’d also like to thank Bob Ruth for being the contact person and writing the above.
