Once again Jan Maloff is organizing a bike giveaway for the Christmas season. As many know, he and volunteers collect bikes needing repairs, then fix them up, and then give them away to deserving families. He needs a number of volunteers to repair the bikes and in the past club members have responded with great generosity. I hope that we can continue to do so. This year bikes will be worked on in the Toyota Building at the Fairgrounds until 10 AM to 8 PM each day until the 17th. Jan asks that volunteers call ahead to ensure that someone will be there; his number is 446-7570. On the 18th and 19th the bikes will be moved to Fowler High School and then the giveaway itself will be there on the 20th.
