The 2013 Tour de Syracuse needs you…to volunteer!
This year the race will be held over two days: Saturday May 18th and Sunday May 19th. The Time Trial will be held on Saturday morning, the Criterium Saturday morning and afternoon, and the Road Race will be held on Sunday morning ending in the afternoon.
The Tour de Syracuse takes a tremendous amount of planning, but the success of our race primarily relies on the membership stepping up and volunteering, and no doubt that every year the club membership and community has stepped up and provided tremendous support.
This year we need volunteers for a number of activities; set-up, registration, road marshals, pace car drivers, wheel car drivers, and people to lend a hand picking up after the race.
You don’t need to know the slightest thing about bike racing to volunteer, and no previous experience is necessary. It’s also a great way to see the racing up close.
