A local club rolls into warmer days with more rides than ever before
By Macy Jenkins SYRACUSE (NCC NEWS) – Beads of sweat loosening your grip on the handlebars. A harsh wind stinging your cheeks as you speed downhill. For some of us, getting on a bike may evoke distant childhood memories. But for Onondaga Cycling Club members, gearing up to face the elements is a welcomed adventure.
The club’s official rides typically start in mid-March and happen nearly every day of the week. The rides range from a cool ten miles to a strenuous 120 miles.
