It’s an Onondaga Cycling Club Member Recruitment Party!
Tuesday, June 25th, 7-9pm @Syracuse Bicycle

The Onondaga Cycling Club is looking for a few good men…and women! And they’re raffling off a Trek 1.1 aluminum road bike to one lucky attendee who wants to come learn more about cycling in Onondaga County!

OCC Club members will be on hand to talk with you about the benefits of becoming a member of the Onondaga Cycling Club…and Syracuse Bicycle staff members will be on hand to make sure you enjoy good food, good drinks, and good music! Presentations will include:

• Where to Ride: the Hidden Treasures of Onondaga County The OCC has THE MOST EXTENSIVE collection of ride maps of any bicycle club we’ve seen! Come see samples and talk with members about their favorite routes;

• 100 Miles of Fun…Riding Your First Century Learn about the OCC Annual Century Ride and handouts about how to train for your first century;

• Breaking Away..Riding Your First Local Road Race Get information about local race opportunities and an explanation of USA Cycling Rules;

• Tuesday Night Time Trials…Riding as Hard as You Can in 30 minutes or Less Learn more about the club time trials and why they wear those funny looking helmets;

• Take a Vacation with Your Bike Talk with vacation ride organizers and view photos from past trips;

• Giving Back..While Riding Your Bike Local charity ride organizers will be on hand to talk about upcoming charity ride opportunities and how you can pay it forward, right from your bicycle seat.

• Forget About CrossFit and Mud Runs…Cyclocross is Just as Hard But WAYYYY More Fun! Learn why Cyclocross is the hottest way to stay fit in the fall and how you can get started in the sport.

Every attendee will receive ONE TICKET for the drawing to win a Trek 1.1 aluminum road bike, retail value $729! EACH current OCC MEMBER who attends AND brings a non-member friends will also receive ONE TICKET. Additional raffle tickets for sale at $2 each and 3/$5. Proceeds to benefit the Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Foundation of CNY and the Onondaga Cycling Club.
