Nominations are open for the 2018 – 2019 Onondaga Cycling Club Officers and Board of Directors!

 

It’s hard to believe, but our great bike club doesn’t run itself.  The OCC is a 501(c)3 incorporated not-for-profit, which must be run in accordance with our bylaws.  We have officers and a board of directors that meet monthly to review and plan events, discuss our finances, policy and anything else of consequence to the club. 

Club governing structure:
Officers:
  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
Board of Directors:
  • The board of directors consists of between three and twelve OCC members.
Elections:

Every October we have elections for officers and board members, with the new and returning members starting a new year with the November board meeting.

This year our four current officers and ten of the current twelve board members are running for their current positions, meaning that we have at least two open positions for board members.  Note that regardless of returning board members and officers, any OCC member in good standing may run for any officer and board position.
